On the Verge of Disruption
Brough Turner has been invited to speak at the 2005 IMTC Forum as a keynote speaker (exact topic TBD), on Thursday, May 12th from 8:30AM - 9:15AM. You may recall that Andrea Basso was elected to serve a two-year term on the IMTC's board of directors, so this invitation is a nice benefit of Andrea's efforts. At this annual event, technology executives from the world’s leading communications companies, spanning Europe, Asia and the Americas, meet to explore the latest developments, trends, and upcoming technologies for rich media communications. This will mark the 11th year for the IMTC Forum. The theme of this year’s event is "The Future of Next Generation Networks: Convergence of VoIP, Videoconferencing and Mobile". Special features of the conference will include an interoperability demonstration and exhibits where companies will have an opportunity to interact with leading industry experts from other organizations and find out what’s up and coming in the convergence of VoIP, videoconferencing and mobile. The Eibsee Hotel is the host hotel for both Forum sessions and interoperability demonstrations.
